Herbal iced tea, 2 ways

Herbal iced tea is such a fun way to enjoy herbs during the hot summer months. It’s very easy to make. In this post I share my favorite herbal combo and 2 ways to brew herbal iced tea. Enjoy!

My favorite herbal combo for summer:

  • 2 parts of chamomile
  • 1 part of elderflower
  • 1 part of marigold
  • 1 part of peppermint

Cold Brew

  1. Fill up a glass/jar/pitcher with cold water.
  2. Add the herbs of your choice (to taste, but I usually aim for 1 tbsp per glass).
  3. Let the herbs infuse in the cold water overnight (in the fridge).
  4. Strain the herbs.
  5. Add some ice cubes & enjoy!
  6. (Optional, but I love it: add your favorite flower remedy or tincture)

Iced Tea

  1. Add the herbs of your choice (to taste, but I usually aim for 1 tbsp per glass) to a jar.
  2. Boil water.
  3. Poor the water over the herbs and let steep like you would when making normal hot tea. Cover the top of your jar to make sure all the goodness of the herbs stays in the jar.
  4. Strain.
  5. Let the tea cool down.
  6. Add ice cubes & enjoy!
  7. (Optional, but I love it: add your favorite flower remedy or tincture)
